The National Conservatory of Arts and Crafts is a public state establishment of a scientific, cultural and professional nature, endowed, like the Collège de France, with the status of “grand establishment”.
Placed under the supervision of the Ministry in charge of Higher Education, it fulfills three missions:
· lifelong learning;
· technological research and innovation;
· dissemination of scientific and technical culture.
The motto of Cnam is Docet omnes ubique which means “he teaches everyone everywhere” in Latin. It is established in more than 150 cities in France and abroad.
The University of Minho, founded in 1973, is one of the most prestigious higher education institutions in Portugal, having also gradually asserted itself internationally. The Center for Communication and Society Studies of the University of Minho is the research center that hosts the LIMEmediat project. This center was founded in 2001 and focuses on a wide range of scientific fields, including communication, organizations and social dynamics, with a specific line dedicated to research on inclusive, innovative and reflective societies.
University of Cagliari (UNICA) – Italy
The University of Cagliari is made up of 6 Faculties and 17 Departments, which are in charge of achieving the university's primary objectives: research and teaching, serving the high demand for innovation required by today's knowledge society.
With more than 24,750 enrolled students, 37 three-year degree courses, 34 master's degree courses and 6 single-cycle courses, 30 specialisation schools, 15 doctorate courses and 12 active master's degree courses, the University of Cagliari makes an important contribution to the higher education of young people.
The University of Cagliari is public and has been founded for more than 400 years.
Town hall of Limoges (ML) – France
The city of Limoges is a French metropolis of 210,000 inhabitants in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. Through its town council, Limoges has always been keen to offer its residents a high-quality living environment by responding to a range of issues, opting for prevention and safety to help people live together better. The city has had a prevention and mediation service since 2000, and now has 6 mediators working in the city's various priority neighbourhoods.
Committed to the training of its staff, the town is involved in the European mobility training scheme. Since 2016, the prevention/mediation department has been working alongside mediators from different European countries, but the department has also been sharing its experience and knowledge by welcoming and training mediators from other countries. Since then, mediators have been sharing their observations, ideas and ambitions, to help build a more peaceful society.
